Wangechi Mutu's work addresses issues related to black female identity between Western consumer culture, African politics, and postcolonial history.
She has just won the inaugaral Deutsche Bank Artist of the Year Award.
Her work is now on show at the Berlin Guggenheim, the first solo exhibition of the artist's work in Germany.
'Wangechi Mutu: My Dirty Little Heaven' will be on show until the 13th of June.
