Gaddafi's latest speech misses the mark in Libya

The Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has delivered another defiant address on state television.


In the midst of fighting right across his country and speaking on a telephone line, Colonel Gaddafi has blamed the uprising against his rule on foreign influence and in particular on al-Qaeda.

Ahmed el-Gasir is a Libyan activist with a non-governmental organisation, Human Rights Solidarity, BBC Focus on Africa's Sophie Ikenye asked him what he made of Colonel Gaddafi's address.
