As part of the the BBC's Africa Kicks trip to West Africa we took the Network Africa video sessions on location.

Our first stop was Abidjan, the commercial and cultural capital of Ivory Coast.

Singer Queen Nadeija performs with her band all over the city.

We met her there when she came to perform backing vocals with renown reggae artist, Kajeem.

She performed the Delta Group track, Saoupio, for us on a balcony downtown, accompanied by Adama Diabaté on guitar.
