When Sudan goes to polls next month, there will be a whole generation of people who have never voted before, because it has been almost a quarter of a century since the last national elections.

But these coming elections will not just be about democracy for all, but also about addressing the power imbalance between men and women in Sudan.

Peter Martell reports from Juba, the southern capital, on the special measures that have been put in place before the poll, guaranteeing women political representation.
