Becoming a government minister should be a cause for celebration but for Somalia's new higher education minister, Mohammed Omaar, it is tinged with sadness.
His predecessor was killed in a suicide bomb attack in December.
A Somali man from Denmark is thought to have carried out the attack.
So how will Somalia's new education minister deal with these young Somalis from the west?
That's the question the BBC's Damian Zane put to Mr Omaar.
