Fighters from Somalia's al-Shabab militia have beheaded two members of a rival armed group and displayed their heads on a bridge in the central town of Beled Weyne.

At least six people were killed during fighting in the town between al-Shabab and government troops supported by members of a group called Ahlu Sunnah.

Mohamed Mohamed of BBC's Somali Service reports.
