China's increasing investment in Africa, has been praised by many people who say they offer the continent an alternative to doing business mainly with developed western economies.
But questions are aften raised over how Chinese businesses treat African workers.
A Congolese human rights group has produced a report condemning the working conditions offered by a Chinese company known as CREC, which is involved in a huge construction programme in the DR Congo.
