The process of choosing a civilian head of Guinea's interim government is moving more slowly than anticipated.

Divisions have emerged among the Forces Vivres opposition coalition over who to nominate as prime minister.

Jean-Marie Dore, president of the Union for the Progress of Guinea, said his name was the only one on the table.

But the main union in Guinea disagrees.

It's adamant that its leader Hadja Rabiatou Sera Diallo is still in the race competing against Jean Marie Doré.
