Nigerian government officials have not taken the country being added to a US terror watch list lightly.
Government officials have taken turns to react angrily to moves by the US that require Nigerian passengers to undergo extra security checks.
But former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, appears to have taken a different position and is calling on Nigerians to find out where they are going wrong.
Network Africa's reporter in Lagos, Fidelis Mbah spoke to him and began by asking how he had reacted to news of the alleged attempt by a young Nigerian to bomb a US airliner.
