Voters in Namibia have been lining up to choose a president and parliamentary leaders - some 1.1 million registered voters are expected to take part in the two-day process.

The governing South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) is expected to remain in power but is being challenged by a new breakaway party - the Rally for Democracy and Progress.

Sophie Ikenye spoke to our reporter Frauke Jensen in Windhoek to find how how the voting is progressing.
