Liberia is being sued at the high court in London over a $20 million dollar debt its government took out in the 1970s.

The case is being brought by two foreign investment companies, known as vulture funds, which specialise in debt.

Today's case is the latest in a series that vulture funds have brought against African governments over repayments.

Network Africa's Akwasi Sarpong spoke to Jonathan Stevenson from Jubilee Debt Campaign, which opposes vulture funds.

First, Sarpong asked the BBC's economics correspondent Andrew Walker what exactly this case is about.
