Liberians have been reacting with shock to the sentencing this week of a Liberian woman who castrated and killed her father in 2007.
Twenty-eight year old Brigitte Harris was sentenced to between five and fifteen years in prison.
The incident shocked the Liberian community in America, particularly in the borough of Queens in New York where the family lived.
Network Africa's Hassan Kiawu has been listening to the reactions and sent in this report.
