At least fourty-seven people have been killed in fighting between rival groups in south Sudan, in the latest round of bloody clashes in the troubled region.

The attack is adding to concerns about the levels of violence in the south, which is struggling to ensure citizens register this month for historic elections due in April.

The BBC's Peter Martell reports from the southern Sudanese capital Juba.
