The World Food Summit enters it's third day in Rome today but very little on a positive note has come out of the summit so far.

NGO's say that the absence of prominent leaders, highlights a lack of commitment to food security in rich nations.

Even the head of the UN Food Agency, Jacques Diouf, said he was disappointed that there were no specifics in the declaration.

But all is not lost.

David Spielman, one of the authors of a book called Millions Fed: Proven Successes in Agriculture Development, says there have already been some success stories in Africa.
