Soldiers in Nigeria have attacked an oil producing community in Nigeria's southern Delta region.
The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, a militia group fighting in the region, says the attack was targeted at its members.
The latest fighting is seen as big blow to ongoing negotiations between government and former militant leaders to end unrest in the area.
The BBC's reporter in Lagos, Fidelis Mbah, has been monitoring the situation.
