Madagascar has a new prime minister.

Eugene Mangalaza will head a transitional government that will organise presidential elections due to be held next year.

The African Union hopes this will resolve the political crisis sparked by the seizure of power by Andry Rajoelina in March.

Focus on Africa's Christina Corbett was at the official handover ceremony in Antananarivo.
