The after effects of Zimbabwe's political and economic crises are destined to be felt for generations long after the current emergencies subside.

Statistics from the Family Support Trust Clinic based in the country's main referral hospital has revealed an alarming level of sexual abuse.

According to the data, close to 30,000 children have received treatment after being sexually abused in the past four years.
