Project to help Malawi's sex workers

Giving help to those in the sex trade is not something you would ordinarily expect governments to do but in Malawi that is exactly what is being planned.

The Ministry of Women and Child Development is putting final touches to a project aimed at improving the lives of sex workers.

From Lilongwe, Joel Nkohma reports on the soft loan plan which could help lure some women out of the sex trade.
