Public officers in Nigeria will soon feel the heat from new instructions by the country's Central Bank.
Commercial banks are now being instructed to report any large transactions by politically exposed people, such as governors, ministers and other top government officials.
This latest move is part of the Central Bank's continuing shake-up of the financial sector.
Akwasi Sarpong called up Network Africa's reporter in Lagos, Fidelis Mbah, to find out more about the Central Bank's instructions.
