There are two million in the DR Congo - more than a million in Somalia, and over 4 million in Sudan.
That's the number of people who have been displaced by conflict and political upheaval in Africa.
Today, they- and others like them - may have been given new hope by leaders gathered at an African Union meeting in Kampala.
