Pressure is mounting on Southern Africa's regional body SADC to mediate in the current political deadlock in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwean Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai disengaged his Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) faction from the power sharing government because of what he said were difficulties dealing with President Robert Mugabe's ZANU-PF party.

Mr Tsvangirai has been travelling to several SADC countries in a bid to galvanise support; yesterday he was in South Africa where he met with President Jacob Zuma.

The BBC's Veronique Edwards asked Ambassador Lindiwe Zulu who is a Special Adviser to Mr. Zuma what happened at the meeting.
