Ethiopia's government has launched an appeal for $120 million to feed more than 6 million people between now and the end of the year.

Much of the country is in the grip of a drought that is ravaging the rest of the region.

The appeal was made by the Ethiopian minister for disaster management and food security Mitiku Kassa.
