Ghana Telecom sold at knock-down price

An official enquiry commissioned by the Ghanaian government to look into the conditions of the privatisation of the Ghanaian Telecommunication company has found that the sale was not constitutional and that the national company was undervalued.

The company was sold to Vodafone last year under the previous government.

Our reporter in Ghana, David Amanor, has seen the report which will be officially disclosed later today.
