The parliamentary leader of the main opposition party in Uganda has been admitted into hospital, after being involved in a motor accident.

Professor Morris Ogenga Latigo of the Forum for Democratic Change party was travelling to his home region, in Northern Uganda, when his vehicle collided with an on-coming bus.
