Pressure continues to mount on the beleaguered military junta in Guinea.

Captain Moussa Dadis Camara has tried to appease his critics by calling for a government of national unity and late on Wednesday he announced the start of an independent commission of enquiry into the slaying of opposition supporters by security forces on September 28th.

But now the human rights watch dog, Amnesty International, are calling for a halt to all arms supplies to the country.

Network Africa's Paul Bakibinga spoke to Irwin van den Borght, Africa Director of Amnesty International.
