Guinea's military junta has announced that it is setting up an independent commission of enquiry into the events that led to the killing of an estimated 150 opposition supporters by the military.
The announcement came just hours after the French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner accused the military leader of possibly ordering the shooting of protesters last week.
Captain Camara has since denied any responsibility.
For details of the announcement, Network Africa's Paul Bakibinga spoke to Ofeibea Quirst-Arcton of the Us's National Public Radio who is in Conakry.
