The latest crime figures from South Africa reveal a slight decline in the number of murders but a soaring rise in the number of house robberies and a worrying increase in sexual crimes.
These figures come at a particularly sensitive time with President Jacob Zuma vowing to get tough on crime ahead of South Africa hosting next year's Football World Cup.
