The new science-fiction film, District 9, has incurred the wrath of Nigeria's information minister, Dora Akunyili, for depicting Nigerians in a very negative light.

The film, set in South Africa and featuring gangsters and drug dealers, has already raked in millions just weeks after opening in cinemas worldwide.

Bola Mosuro spoke to Professor Akunyili to find out why she is calling on film distributors in Nigeria to withdraw the film.
