The government in Sierra Leone have released the findings of a Commission of Inquiry set up to investigate violence involving the ruling party of President Ernest Bai Koroma and the main opposition SLPP party.

There has been great anticipation ahead of its publication, there were allegations of rape and sexual abuse against members of the opposition.

Last night the report, which had been kept a closely-guarded secret, was released.
