Uganda's president Yoweri Museveni has been addressing the national parliament following last week's riots in Kampala.

The violence was sparked off after the government said it would not allow the King of the Buganda ethnic group to visit an area outside the capital that is traditionally part of his tribal Kingdom.

Focus on Africa's Sophie Ikenye spoke to our reporter in Kampala, Joshua Mmali.
