The Gabonese government has generally kept a low profile since the election polls.
Although president elect, Ali Ben Bongo, has appealed for calm following violent protests in the opposition stronghold - the economic capital Port Gentil.
He's also urged his rivals to take their grievances to court.
But were these eklections free and fair?
