South Africa's president Jacob Zuma says the political problems dogging Zimbabwe's power sharing government can be resolved.
He said this in Harare, as he began engaging with the leaders of the three political parties which make up the country's inclusive government.
Mr Zuma meets his counterpart President Robert Mugabe this morning, as well as Movement for Democratic Change leaders Morgan Tsvangirai and Professor Arthur Mutambara.
He is hoping to help them find lasting solutions and to ease growing tensions over senior government appointments and sanctions.
Zimbabwean journalist Brian Hungwe is in Harare from where he filed this report.
