The head of Zambia's Task Force on Corruption, Maxwell Nkole, has been relieved of his duties just one week after the acquittal of former president Frederick Chiluba.
His task force was created eight years ago by the late president Levy Mwanawasa to probe acts of corruption and abuses of office alleged to have been committed during the Chiluba regime.
So has political pressure been brought to bear and is this finally the end of Mr Chiluba's legal woes?
