Are oppressive libel laws being used to crush press freedom in Africa?
That's the question being asked tonight after the High Court in Tanzania ordered a newspaper to pay damages of one million dollars to a businessman.
The plaintiff, Reginald Mengi, himself a Tanzanian media baron, claimed the newspaper had defamed him.
