A new action plan has been signed in Sudan today aimed at providing concrete steps to boost the peace deal between former civil war enemies from the north and south.

The US Special Envoy to Sudan, Scott Gration, was there as the two sides came together to put their signatures to the plan in the southern capital Juba.

Focus on Africa's Peter Martell was also there.
