In what was seen as a landmark corruption case, Zambia's former president Frederick Chiluba has been cleared of all charges against him.

Mr Chiluba was accused of embezzling public funds worth $500,000, but at the end of a case lasting six years, the court in Lusaka ruled that the prosecution had failed to prove the charges.

Focus on Africa's Musonda Chibamba was in court.
