The International Criminal Court has ordered the conditional release of the former vice president of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Jean-Pierre Bemba has been in the Hague since July last year, on three charges of war crimes and two counts of crimes against humanity for atrocities allegedly committed by fighters under his command in the Central African Republic from October 2002 to March 2003.
Mr Bemba's actual trial is still pending.
The ICC's Registrar is Silvana Arbia and she told Focus on Africa's Hassan Arouni what conditions need to be met for Mr Bemba' release
