The insecurity in the South of Sudan is not being helped by the activities of Uganda's rebel Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) who have been attacking communities in South Sudan and the Central Africa Republic.

According to UN aid groups in the CAR, the latest LRA attack there killed at least nine people at the weekend.

But the LRA denies this and is hoping to make representations to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on her visit to Nairobi this week.

LRA spokesperson is Dr Nyekorech Matsanga, he spoke to Network Africa's Lewis Machipisa on the line from the BBC's Nairobi studios.
