Campaigning begins today in Somaliland for the September 27 presidential election, but it looks like it might be a one-party race.
The self-declared republic's two opposition parties have vowed to boycott the election, citing the government's decision to proceed with the polls whilst ignoring a new voter registration system.
BBC reporter in Hargeisa - Jamal Abdi spoke to the Vice Chair of Kulmiye, the main opposition party, Abdirahman Abdikadir Farah and asked him to confirm if his party would begin campaigning for the presidential elections in Somaliland today.
