The US state of Minnesota has the highest concentration of Somali people outside of Somalia.
The FBI is currently investigating how four youths from Minnesota recently died in Somalia after reportedly fighting alongside the extreme militant group Al Shabab, and last October a 27 year old Somali from the state became the first suicide bomber in Mogadishu.
These events have led observers to believe Minnesota is becoming a hotbed for recruiting militants, and now such matters are raising passions at a Somali youth conference being held there.
Bola Mosuro spoke to Abdusalam Aato, one of the conference organisers.
