Two African countries have joined the ranks of countries with UNESCO World Heritage sites in their territory. Burkina Faso's "ruins of Loropéni" are situated near the borders with Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana and Togo, and have recently been shown to be at least 1,000 years old. Cape Verde's Cidade Velha - is an old Creole city. To find out more, Hassan Arouni spoke to Lazare Eloungou, the Head of the Africa Unit at UNESCO.
