Gabon's late President Omar Bongo Ondimba is yet to be laid to rest but that has not stopped a group of key Gabonese civil society groups from making demands about the next presidential elections.
A transitional government is currently in place headed by former Senate President, now interim State President Rose Francine Rogombe.
She has up to 45 days to organise elections.
But after more than 41-years under Omar Bongo, the opposition is keen to get a slice of the action as well and late on Sunday, they issued a strong statement.
Paul Bakibinga spoke to Gabonese reporter, Linel Kwatsi on the line from Libreville.
