Why are disputes over land creating conflicts on the continent?

Disputes over land rights are mirrored in all corners of the continent.

It remains a crucial and emotive issue among many communities.

The South African government has been battling to re-distribute land back to blacks since the end of apartheid in 1994.

But where is the issue of land the most serious?

Bola Mosura spoke to Ruth Hall, a researcher at the Programme for Land and Agrarian Studies at the University of the Western Cape.
