South Africa's President Jacob Zuma delivers his first state of the nation address this morning.

Among the things he is expected to talk about is how his government will implement the ruling party's election promises.

The African National Congress was voted back into office two months ago, with Mr. Zuma as state president.

The BBC's Mpho Lakaje takes up the story from Johannesburg.
