When he was elected as President of South Africa two weeks ago, Jacob Zuma promised an efficient government that would be tough on corruption.

But early in his term of office, President Zuma faces a tough question over what to do about his newly appointed Transport Minister S'bu Ndebele who has accepted an expensive new Mercedes Benz S500 from a group of contractors who received contracts from him while he was the provincial minister of Transport in KwaZulu Natal province.
