There has been fighting between government forces and insurgents everyday this week in Somalia.

Reports suggested that government forces had been pegged back to the area around the presidential palace.

The UN representative to Somalia has said that this latest outbreak of fighting amounts to a coup attempt.

So what is the situation in Mogadishu this morning? Akwasi Sarpong spoke to journalist Mohammad Sheikh Nur.
