Huge blasts have rocked an ammunition dump at an army camp in Tanzania's main city, Dar es salaam.

Several buildings around the area were evacuated as fire alarms sounded.

Three people have been confirmed dead so far and hundreds of others are being treated for multiple injuries in various hospitals.

Uduak Amimo spoke to Vicky Ntetema for an update on the situation.
