A BBC investigation has found evidence that Bosco Ntaganda, a former chief of staff under dissident General Laurent Nkunda , is acting as a commander in joint operations launched by the Congolese Army with MONUC against Hutu-FDLR rebels. Earlier this year when Mr Ntaganda switched allegiance to the Congolese Army, MONUC insisted that they would not be involved in any joint operations with the Congolese Army if he was given any role. But our Kinshasa correspondent, Thomas Fessy, has seen evidence to prove otherwise.
