The government of Rwanda has suspended all BBC broadcasts in the local Kinyarwanda language on FM frequencies because of what it says is bias in BBC reports concerning the 1994 genocide.

A programme broadcast on Saturday appears to have been the last straw according to the authorities in Kigali.

For details the BBC's Geoffrey Mutagoma has been speaking to Rwanda's information minister Louise Mushikiwabo.
