Ugandan businessmen are reportedly incurring heavy losses as goods destined for the country via the railway, continue to pile up at the port in Mombasa, Kenya.

This is after youths in the Kibera area of Nairobi uprooted a section of the railway line in protest at Uganda's occupation of the disputed Migingo Island on Lake Victoria.

Both Kenya and Uganda are claiming ownership of the island.
